The 2nd “Train the Teachers” workshop was successfully conducted by PinoyBBDev group in Gordon College last 28th April, 2012 to rollout the BlackBerry Academic Program of Research in Motion (RIM) as one of the College’s elective subjects this year. There were around 21 attendees, all of which were professors/instructors from 11 different colleges/universities such as Mabalacat College, Eastwoods Professional College, Guagua National College, Wesleyan University and Softnet College to name a few.

John Bibal II and Naricar Tabisora (with the help of Reynante Bernal) joined forces to impart how BlackBerry platform can be used by students to develop mobile applications.
The interactive session lasted for about 8 hours and the participants showed great interest on BlackBerry technology knowing that with just a few lines of code, developers can start creating mobile applications for BlackBerry.
In effect, the professors feel that they will be instrumental in preparing their students for their future careers through developing their technical skills that will appeal to the future employers.
